Brazilian waxing differs from a bikini wax because all hair is removed in the front, back and in between. Some clients leave a landing strip. To have the best waxing experience follow the recommendations below.
- Hair must be 1/4 inch long for the wax to adhere. It takes about a week and a half to grow out a 1/4 inch of hair.
- We do not trim hair so if it is longer than 1/4 inch you must trim before your appointment. This will prevent matting of hair and wax, extra pain and bruising.
- Do your best not to exercise or shower with hot water right before waxing appointment. These activities increase the blood flow and make the wax areas more sensitive.
- To maintain your Brazilian an appointment is recommended every 4 to 6 weeks.
